How to check ACT scores from years ago?

Hey, is there a way to check and retrieve my ACT scores from a few years back? I didn't think I'd need them again, but now I do. Does anyone know how long ACT scores are kept and if it's possible to get access to them now?

Yes, you can access your old ACT scores by requesting them from the ACT organization. ACT scores are typically archived for a period of ten years after your test date. To retrieve your scores, you'll need to submit a request, which can be done online through the ACT website or by mailing a paper request form.

To make the request online, visit the ACT website and log into your account. If you don't remember your login information, there's a "Forgot Password/Username" option to help you recover that information. Once you're logged in, navigate to the "Your Test Dates and Scores" section and follow the instructions to request your old scores.

If you prefer to submit a request by mail, you can download the "Request for Archived ACT Scores" form from the Resources section of the ACT website, fill it out, and mail it to the provided address.

Keep in mind that there may be additional processing time (around 5-8 weeks) and a fee for retrieving archived scores. The fee covers the search process as well as sending the scores to you or directly to designated colleges or institutions.
